<image:title>Booking Advice - Booking Advice</image:title>
<image:caption>Booking advice changes based on what your priorities are. My first piece of advice is be as flexible as possible. I usually let the deals determine my dates and destinations. Do you have specific dates you have to travel? If so, being flexible with location may be the most helpful. Try to search for that super low fare flight destination. Do you have a specific end destination in mind? If so, then being flexible with your dates will help you seek the best deal so that your miles and dollars get you the trip of your dreams.</image:caption>

<image:title>Booking Advice - Know your worth!</image:title>
<image:caption>While it is always great to have self-worth, that is not what I mean here! At least a few times a year, you should take stock of your various points and miles accounts. Evaluate how many points you have with each program and assess their current value. For those programs that you hold status with or for those that come with benefits, take stock of what you have used year to date and what you have remaining for the year. Never leave any benefits/perks unused!</image:caption>

<image:title>Booking Advice - Check your redemption values</image:title>
<image:caption>Prior to booking with points or using a points plus cash option, you should always evaluate the current monetary and the specific redemption value of your points. How? Use my calculator!</image:caption>

<image:title>How & When To Use Your Points - One Size Does Not Fit All</image:title>
<image:caption>I am not talking about clothing here! There is this notion out there that you have to always get the absolute best redemption value for your points. While yes, there are some redemptions that are better than others, it is about finding what works best for you to let you travel how, when and where you want to go! I am a firm believer of booking what works best for you and getting the best value within the realms of what you want to do. While that trip to Fargo, North Dakota may be the best redemption value, if you have no interest in going there, why are you booking it?! This is why I developed my points calculator. It helps guide what might be a good redemption versus what might not be the best bang for your buck. It looks at current point valuation compared to redemption value of specifically what you are trying to book. It eliminates the guesswork on daily valuations and provides information. However, after the calculator spits out the valuation comparison, it is important to consider how it plays into your overall plans!</image:caption>

<image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>Eat drink see the world is the living documentation of my wanderlust. I think my wanderlust was always there. The desire to see and explore is inside all of us, sometimes it takes an experience or specific trip to truly ignite it. In 2015, I traveled to the Galapagos. For me, like many others, this was a “bucket list” trip. At the time, my day job was not particularly lucrative and I saved every penny for almost three years to get there. I’ll never forget looking around the boat and realizing, I was the youngest person on it who paid my own way (there were a few parent-sponsored guests abaord). Because of the cost, so many had saved this trip for later in life. Each day was truly an adventure with hiking across uneven terrain, zodiac rides and diving. It broke my heart talking to some of the older guests who had wanted to visit their entire lives and on some days could not go ashore due to the physical difficulty of the trip. I promised myself that would not be me. There is simply too much out there to see and experience in our short lives! Since 2015, I have found creative ways to visit 7 continents and over 50 countries. This page is dedicated to helping you spark your wanderlust and plan the trips of your dreams. It is possible to travel frequently and see the world with some creative point tricks and stretching your dollar.</image:caption>
