How & When to Use Your Points

One Size Does Not Fit All

I am not talking about clothing here! There is this notion out there that you have to always get the absolute best redemption value for your points. While yes, there are some redemptions that are better than others, it is about finding what works best for you to let you travel how, when and where you want to go!

I am a firm believer of booking what works best for you and getting the best value within the realms of what you want to do. While that trip to Fargo, North Dakota may be the best redemption value, if you have no interest in going there, why are you booking it?!

This is why I developed my points calculator. It helps guide what might be a good redemption versus what might not be the best bang for your buck. It looks at current point valuation compared to redemption value of specifically what you are trying to book. It eliminates the guesswork on daily valuations and provides information. However, after the calculator spits out the valuation comparison, it is important to consider how it plays into your overall plans!
